- I have a Cardinal 14400 internal modem that has done well. I've
- never called for tech service, but have logged on to their
- BBS.Nothing to worth wild there. They now have a web page, but
- as with all modem manufacter's, zip there as well.
-
- Cardinal modems are fairly well constructed, from my unexpert
- eye, and documentation I received was adequate. They seem to
- break the price barrior, they are cheaper.
-
- In my business I bought similar product, Hayes with Rockwell
- chip, that worked, if anything a little less well. They are
- better, reportedly on tech. stuff. They send big manuals of
- stuff I don't want to read.
-
- Shop for the cheapest price, as modems are disposible items I've
- found. I alway's seem to be giving people old modems.
-
- I would by Cardinal again.
